In 2016  the fires that devastated Tennessee (a member of our 4H region) saw many 4H members and their families in Tennessee without homes and property.  HSC sent money to the Extension office in the county most effected to aid families in the area.  These funds were raised through our concession events throughout the year.

2017 had terrible fires in California.  Our youth officers decided to donate money to the 4H victims in 3 counties impacted by the fires.  We sent 300.00 to each county to aid in rebuilding their lives.

For the last 13 years HSC has worked with Ocala Farm Ministries and Chaplain Bob on two projects in helping those less fortunate.  HSC supports a Thanksgiving with a Family and a Christmas with a Family where we take a few minutes on Thanksgiving morning to deliver a full meal to a family or two.  We do this with as many club members who are available and bring some joy to others.

We do this again at Christmas a few days before the holiday taking food and gifts to some families.

We have sent items to soldiers overseas.

We have donated money to our County 4H program

We have donated money to our County Youth Fair

We have visited folks in nursing homes at Christmas.
